Summary:
All Airel ever wanted to be was normal, to disappear into the crowd. But bloodlines can produce surprises, like sudden mysterious illness. Then there’s Michael Alexander, the new guy in school, who is impossibly gorgeous…and captivated by her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she can hear the sound of pages turning, and another, older story being written. It is the story of an ancient family, of great warriors, of the Sword of Light, and the struggle against an evil so terrible, so far-reaching, that it threatens everything she hopes for even now. Airel knew change would be inevitable as life went on. But can she hold on when murder and darkness begin to close in and take away everything she loves? Will she have what it takes when the truth is finally revealed? (Via Goodreads)

At first, every book that I’ve read that has two authors has been a bit of a mess, but Airel has pulled me out of my delusion. This magnificent book shows how Amazing a book written by co-authors can really be! Airel is an epic of angelic proportions-pun intended.

Aaron Patterson and Chris White have worked together to create a masterpiece worth reading a million times. I love how the romance and action are weaved together to create something so incredible. Airel switches off between two very distant time periods. When the book switches off between the time periods you want to stay in one but you just have to turn to the next. What I really mean is that the book has some mean cliffhangers.

The book is named after the main character of the book whose name is Airel, obviously. She discovers that something weird is happening to her…that’s really all I can tell you guys without ruining the book, sorry guys! To make up for that, I’ll just have to ramble about her super-yummy love interest, Michael. He is a new kid in school that makes Airel barf their second meeting. Yep, you read that right. Now you guys see why I loved this book! It’s just plain…Interesting-in a good way!

In all Airel was a that was blended perfectly for the thrill-seeking young adult readers! The setting of the book is very descriptively shined through with the words and so are the unique characters!

Cover Thoughts
The cover is breathtaking and includes all of my favorite colors! That’s very impressive to me! The girl's gown is gorgeous and makes me green with envy. The single feather in her hand defines the race of warriors from which Airel descends.

Thank you to the authors and to Feedblitz for letting me be on this tour!
